Episode 78 - Michelle Souliere - Bigfoot in Maine

My guest for this episode is paranormal researcher and author Michelle Souliere.

Michelle is a resident of Portland in the US state of Maine and since 2005 has been chronicling the weirdness of that part of the world in her ‘Strange Maine’ blog, which explores unusual local history, mysteries, legends, cryptids and a whole lot more.

In 2021 she released the book Bigfoot in Maine, which is the subject of our conversation for this episode. In the interview we talk about the history of Bigfoot sightings in Maine, and what might explain some of those encounters. We then move on to discuss the eyewitness experiences Michelle has recorded from more recent times, interviewing the people involved to get their testimony first hand. Some of those experiences are quite incredible, and offer a fascinating insight into the nature of the Bigfoot phenomenon.
